Buying Guide

Choosing a padel racket depends on your skill level, your hitting style, and what you're looking for on the court: control, power, or a balance of both. At 3R Padel, we only select rackets that we have tested — currently from the Nox range.

• Round shape: maximum control, ideal for beginner and intermediate levels.

• Teardrop shape: balance between control and power, the most versatile.

• Diamond shape: maximum power, designed for advanced players with good technique.

• Weight: between 350-360g for more control, 365-375g for more power.

• Balance: low/medium for control, high for power.

Frequently asked questions

Which racket should I choose if I'm a beginner?

We recommend round or teardrop shapes, with a low or medium balance. They prioritise control over power, which helps improve technique without losing consistency.

Which racket brands do you work with?

Right now we work with Nox, a brand 100% dedicated to padel. Its range runs from control rackets for beginners to power models for competition, so we can match the recommendation to your level without leaving a brand we know inside out.

How often should I change my racket?

With use 2-3 times a week, every 12 to 18 months is common, although it depends on wear and tear and if you notice a loss of feel or shots.

Why do you only carry these brands and not all existing ones?

Because at 3R Padel we select, we don't accumulate a catalogue: we only sell rackets that we have tested and would genuinely recommend.
